Rose Ventiere was the matriarch of the South Country Youth Soccer League and a tireless advocate for children. She generously gave her time and energy to make South Country a better place through her service.
Each year, Rose awarded a community-minded student with a scholarship to recognize his or her service to South Country and the South Country Youth Soccer League. The league proudly continues to reward a student who represents the values Rose demonstrated in life with the Seventh Annual Rose Ventiere Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.
To be considered for the Rose Ventiere Memorial Scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
+ 2024 Bellport High School graduate
+ SCYSL player (Past or Present)
+ Accepted to a full-time, accredited college or university
+ Complete the attached application
The SCYSL Scholarship Committee will review all applications to determine the recipient. The scholarship will be presented at the Bellport High School Senior Awards on June, 2024.
